A delegation led by US Representative Tom Petri (R-WI), Chairman of the Highways and Transit Subcommittee and representing Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District, visited GF Health Products, Inc. (“Graham-Field”)’s Fond du Lac, WI manufacturing facility on Monday, March, 31, 2014.

After touring the newly expanded manufacturing facility and having an opportunity to speak with some of the facility’s 125 plus employees, Representative Petri was impressed with Graham-Field’s technological innovation and focus on manufacturing quality products here in the United States.
“In our discussions, Representative Petri said he was excited to see the investment Graham-Field has made in high tech manufacturing equipment and the increase in employment that has taken place at our Fond du Lac facility, which is right in his own backyard,” said Ken Spett, CEO of Graham-Field.
“We had the opportunity to discuss how our expansion in Wisconsin reflects the demographic shift in the population and the need to supply quality healthcare products to this growing population. Our commitment to increasing our manufacturing footprint here in the United States was welcome news to Representative Petri, who was concerned with how the Medical Device Tax and other regulations might affect that growth,” stated Spett.
“We assured him that we are committed to increasing our investment in manufacturing in the United States, here in Wisconsin, at our facility in Rhode Island, and in our home state of Georgia,” added Spett.
